Downtown Manitowoc just got a little brighter and a lot tastier. Golden Plated, located at 905 Washington Street just two blocks from Washington Park, is bringing something new and exciting to the city’s main strip. Fun fact—it now calls the building that once housed Warren’s Diner home, giving the space a fresh start while honoring a local favorite. In a lot of ways, it is the first of its kind in the area.
Golden Plated is more than just a restaurant. You can sit down for a meal, book them to cater your next event, or catch their food truck on weekend nights for bar goers looking for a bite while traveling downtown. The restaurant is part of a growing wave of new dining spots bringing energy and flavor to the city’s main strip.
The man behind it all is Joey Golden Jr. Inspired by his mother’s cooking, Joey took everything he learned from years working in restaurants and added his own twist.
